SAIC has an immediate need for a Software Engineer to support the Supporting Strategic and Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) located onsite at Redstone Arsenal. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Support requirements management, design, coding, implementation, and testing 

• Use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts

• Knowledgeable regarding the tools used to manage software requirements, work packages

• Contribute to to assignments to completion and communicate blockers in a timely manner  

• Supports preparation of detail design with embedded software for military systems

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proficiency in basic computer skills, virtual meeting, and using cloud based tools.
• Solid work experience with customers/resolving issues while meeting schedule requirements.
• Must possess good oral and written communications skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be motivated, adaptable, and flexible
• Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to encourage, inspire, and participate in teamwork

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:

• Active Secret security clearance (US Citizenship)
