The Space Operations SETA will support the Space Security and Defense Program (SSDP) Enduring High Level Cell (EHLC) with human-in-the-loop analytic efforts to determine how space operators interact with and use space systems and how they react to events in a given scenario. This position is in Colorado Springs. The applicant will also help define expected goals, inputs, and behavior of space operators to be run in a constructive simulation and help to define the various battle strategies that operators may employ. The applicant will also, with the lens of an operator, test models and simulation software and tools to be used in the aforementioned efforts to ensure they are ready for human-in-the-loop or constructive analysis events. The applicant will work with SSDP, SWAC, program offices, IC partners, and the rest of the USSF to gather information to model and represent capabilities required for analytic efforts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and facilitate SWAC Force Design analytic efforts, testing and improving software for cognitive assessment and constructive analysis
- Evaluate, modify, and test models in SPySE and other EHLC software tools
- Collaborate with fellow industry Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver the best-informed models
- Improve user interfaces for operators, and define operator strategies and decision making
