SAIC is seeking a Supply Technician for our customer site in North Charleston, SC.

The Supply Technician:

• Provides expertise and the ability to supervise the LMADIS  Materials Management team.
• Provides material purchase status reports to management.
• Work with Purchasing Team to execute common buys across programs and Build long term agreements with key suppliers.
• Work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Purchasing to identify and qualify new suppliers.
• Collaborates with other managers to determine material needs.
• Working with all Program Managers, Engineers, and Program Logisticians to furnish complete Build of Materials (BOMs) to Purchasing for RFQ and procurement requirements.
• Resolve program shortages by reviewing and analyzing all back-orders.
• Periodic calls to vendors to insure promised dates are kept.
• Collecting merchandise from the Shipping and receiving section and safely transporting materials to the receiving area.
• Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
• Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the Management.
• Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled.
• Supervise all material through computer input.
• Assisting with training of newly employed workers.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma and five (5) years of experience.
• Requires excellent time management and prioritizing skills to meet the challenges of unexpected program updates and requirements.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
• CMPRO experience.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a public trust
