Description

Description

SAIC is a trusted leader in delivering advanced command and control capabilities across the Department of the Air Force, bringing deep expertise in how cutting edge technologies are engineered, secured, and delivered to the fight. At the center of this mission, the Common Mission Control Center (CMCC) unifies data, sensors, mission applications, cloud based services, and emerging AI enabled automation to give warfighters a decisive edge—turning complex, multidomain information into fast, clear, and actionable decisions in the moments that matter most. The CMCC System Facilitator contract positions SAIC to accelerate how new capabilities are integrated, tested, secured, and transitioned into operational use, working side by side with operators, engineers, Capability Providers, and government teams to ensure every delivery strengthens mission readiness. This effort offers the chance to directly shape how the Air Force sees, decides, and acts across all domains—making a tangible and immediate impact on warfighter effectiveness.
The System User Expert (SUE) is the program's front-line operator readiness lead, ensuring mission crews, distributed units, and test organizations understand, employ, and validate CMCC capabilities effectively. The SUE delivers operator training, leads train-the-trainer engagements, maintains all user-facing materials, and provides support during operations, demos, and test events.
The SUE is the program's expert and plays a critical role in bridging operators, test units, WLT, Capability Providers, and engineering teams.

Job Duties include:
•    Deliver operator training, system walkthroughs, and scenario-based instruction focused on OmniView, CMCC workflows, and capability updates.
•    Lead train‑the‑trainer programs for operational squadrons and distributed units so they can independently train new personnel.
•    Maintain and update operator materials—quick‑start guides, reference cards, workflow aids, and release notes.
•    Support user onboarding across all sites/systems, ensuring system understanding are established from day one.
•    Support execution of existing simulator scenarios, bridging gap between user desires and CPs to develop new scenarios.
•    Capture operator feedback during daily operations and events; route actionable insights through the Warfighter Liaison Team (WLT) into engineering, requirements, and test workflows.
•    Provide on‑site or remote operator support during exercises, demos, test events, and operational surges, ensuring users are ready and issues are rapidly resolved.
•    Work directly with test units (DT/OT, Operational Test, AFTC, or equivalent) to prepare operators for test execution, ensure test objectives map to operational realities, and assist in evaluating new capability performance.
•    Participate in CMCC integration testing, Experimental events, and readiness activities by helping validate workflows, user interactions, and UI behaviors.
•    Document user findings, training updates, and observed workflow issues using Jira and Confluence.
•    Coordinate with engineering, Capability Providers, cyber, and platform teams to ensure training content remains correct with each release.
•    Identify user friction points, workflow gaps, or UI confusion and collaborate with User Story Authors, CPA/WL, and engineering to drive improvement.
