SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer Senior to join our team to begin an exciting and challenging career.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand the overall functionality of the application, data, all the components, facilitate interfaces with upstream and downstream applications and processes
• Work with customers for requirements, define the scope, break down tasks, prioritize, schedule and define JIRA stories
• Manage the JIRA board, conduct daily SCRUM
• Work with other internal teams such as infrastructure team (op-prem and cloud), DBA team
• Perform data analysis as needed, to support customer requests and troubleshoot issues
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• BS and 9+ years of related experience 
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Public Trust that requires U.S. Citizenship 
• Strong analytical and organization skills
• Proficiency in SQL
• High level understanding of Java, Messaging Queues
• High level understanding of UI technologies such as Angular, HTML
  
  

Desired 

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Microsoft Excel
• Experience with supporting mission critical, high volume applications
