SAIC is seeking a Technical Knowledge Manager (KM) to help optimize how the organization captures, stores, and shares information to drive efficiency and decision-making. Key responsibilities include creating knowledge-sharing cultures, maintaining internal knowledge bases/repositories, establishing content governance, and utilizing tools to enhance information retrieval and reduce productivity bottlenecks.  

This position requires an active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph and is located in Chantilly, VA.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Knowledge Base Maintenance: Organizing, structuring, and updating company intranet sites, databases, or content management systems (CMS) to serve as a single source of truth.
  • Content Governance: Developing processes for capturing tacit knowledge (employee expertise) and turning it into explicit knowledge (documentation)
  • Culture Building: Driving adoption of knowledge-sharing practices across departments to reduce information silos.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyzing usage metrics (e.g., search analytics, surveys) to evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge assets and platforms.
  • Onboarding & Support: Assisting with employee onboarding by ensuring training materials are accessible and up to date.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 9 years of experience
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Knowledge Management Software and or Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Information Architecture: Skills in organizing content, content mapping, and establishing documentation taxonomy
  • Communication: Strong writing, editing, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with staff and train users
  • Project Management: Ability to manage projects involving the implementation of new technology or procedures
  • Analytical Skills: Capability to interpret data to refine knowledge strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certificate in Training, Facilitation, Teaching, and/or Knowledge Management Software
  • Extensive experience within the IC supporting multiple missions
