The Test Engineer will use automation tools, scripting languages, and software development lifecycle principles to create and execute thorough testing plans. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders, communicate test results and defects, and continuously seek process improvements. The Test Engineer will maintain compliance with industry standards and facilitate user acceptance testing to ensure a reliable, high-quality final product.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform complex testing and analysis of CNO capabilities to ensure their functionality meets the design specification and expected outcomes
- Define the output to the developers, provide debug artifacts, and perform crash analyses
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scrips, manage complex test threads, and optimize test script performance including Functional, Ad Hoc, API, and Regression Testing
- Continuously improve test methodologies to enhance test accuracy and reliability and update test documentation to reflect any changes in requirements or procedures
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or institution and five (5) years of experience as a Test Engineer or an additional four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience with basic scripting in Python or Bash
- Experience with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Junit, TestNG)
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience planning and executing Performance Analysis.
- Experience reviewing planned acquisition approaches to align with test and evaluation schedules.
- Performed risk analysis to specify, validate, and adapt models and simulations for test and evaluation procedures.
- Applied statistical analysis of variations in performance behavior to characterize confidence in performance estimates.
- Established and employed data and configuration management capabilities.
- Experience designing surveys for evaluation and user assessment purposes.
Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
