SAIC is looking for a JROTC Training Analyst in Fort Knox, KY to support the U.S. Army. This position serves as a Training Analyst for Army JROTC instructor management, providing operational and field support for instructor management matters nationwide. This position authenticates, updates, and maintains instructor information into the JROTC Command Information Management System (JCIMS); tracks instructor application documentation for evaluation and eligibility based on established JROTC regulations; and assists in preparing training materials and conducts training sessions as assigned.

Daily tasks could include:

  • Provides technical support of a limited scope to users and assists them in defining and solving computing problems within well-defined areas of responsibility.
  • Assists in preparing documentation of supported products for Instructor Management Division.
  • Assists in preparing user training materials and conducts training sessions as assigned.
  • Applies knowledge of computer science principles, information management principles, data processing functions, and Automated Data Processing (ADP) hardware and software systems structures and operations daily.
  • Conducts individual and group training sessions and demonstrates how to use the JROTC computer program, JCIMS.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelors and three (3) years or more of experience; Masters and one (1) year or more of experience; Additional four (4) years experience can be accepted in lieu of degree.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance or have the ability to obtain one prior to starting; US Citizenship.

Required Skills:

  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and effectively in interactions with instructors and military personnel over the phone and in person.
  • Have a foundational understanding of the military rank structure to effectively interact with high-ranking Army officers and leadership with the appropriate level of protocol and respect.
