SAIC is seeking a dedicated and motivated Windows Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will contribute to maintaining, securing, and optimizing our organization's Windows-based IT infrastructure. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability and security of our systems and providing end-user support to meet organizational needs.
This position is fully remote and can be worked from anywhere in the United States
Key Responsibilities:

Support Microsoft Windows servers (Server 2016/2019/2022) in virtualized and physical environments.

Support issues and requests for Active Directory (including users, groups, policies), and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to maintain uptime and reliability.

Assist in ongoing activities related to compliance and security audits.

Provide Tier 2 support for user-related issues involving Windows systems.

Assist in onboarding new users by managing credentials, permissions, and shared resources.

Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to support organizational objectives effectively.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 3 years of related experience, additional experience can be considered in lieu of degree.
3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Windows Administrator or in a similar role.
ITIL V3 Foundations Certification or higher
Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server (2016 and above).
Experience supporting Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with monitoring and management tools (e.g., SCCM, SCOM).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on minimizing downtime.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator Associate
CompTIA Network+ or Security+
VMware certifications (e.g., VCP)
Experience with Microsoft Azure.
ITIL V4 Certification
