Here is what you will be doing:

• Unload pipe from railcars and load trucks 
• Operate or move equipment around the yard and shop
• Assist leadership with other assignments as required 
• Deliver pipe to well locations with the Clean and Drift Pipe Inspectors
• Professional interaction and collaboration with other Savage Team Members and customers

Requirements of a successful Equipment Operator: 

• Work any shift, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
• Flexibility and ability to work on various shop, maintenance, and yard tasks
• Experience in operation of Pettibone, front-end loaders, material handler, and other equipment are a plus
• Read, write, and understand English, follow written and/or verbal instruction, and possess basic math and computer skills
• Able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors(s), adhere to required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
• Reliable, honest and demonstrate integrity while working with a sense of urgency

Education/Experience:

• High School or GED
• 2-5 years of oil field experience preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Work in adverse conditions (heat and cold)
• Handle heavy parts and pieces of equipment
• Climb on and off the equipment
• Lift 50 lbs. or more independently
