This role involves performing regular inspections, leading maintenance and repair crews, managing materials, and ensuring all trackage meets Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and company standards. This manager will work directly with operations and the customer regarding track conditions.  Key Responsibilities: Track Inspection: Perform regular, scheduled inspections of all tracks, switches, and turnouts using a hi-rail vehicle or walking, identifying defects in alignment, surface, gauge, and structural integrity. Maintenance & Repair Scheduling: Plan, direct, and supervise daily maintenance activities to ensure compliance with FRA Class 1 standards. Preventive Maintenance: Oversee track maintenance, including replacing ties, repairing switches, tamping ballast, adjusting rail, and ensuring proper drainage. Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to FRA safety regulations and client-specific safety protocols, including Roadway Worker Protection (RWP) rules. Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous, up-to-date records of inspections, repairs, and material usage in accordance with FRA requirements. Resource Management: Manage tools, equipment, and material inventory, and coordinate the procurement of necessary supplies. Emergency Response: Respond to derailments or track-related failures 24/7.  Required Qualifications: Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in track maintenance, repair, and inspection. Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of FRA Track Safety Standards (49 CFR Part 213). Leadership: Proven experience supervising field crews. Certifications: Valid driver's license (CDL preferred). Physical Ability: Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift heavy materials. Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications for report submission (e.g., MS Office or specialized track management software).  #IND1
