Uniform Services Time Off (USTO) Uniform Services Differential Pay A culture that appreciates Team Members   Here is what you will be doing: Ensure all employees follow proper safety rules and operating procedures  Conduct daily audits of the overhead bridge crane and DCU Issue frequent work orders to ensure the system is properly maintained Coordinate communications to third parties involved Respond to any unsafe or out of place event or condition immediately Complete and file all necessary documentation as required including JHA's, SHAPS, permits, log entries, safety meetings, audit sheets, daily check sheets Assist in training of employees Conduct and document frequent Safety and toolbox meetings Maintain company objectives and expectations in the absence of the Operations Manager Work closely with Operations to keep production levels high, systems Requirements of a successful Operations Supervisor: In person interviews require the candidate to be clean shaven, no exceptions Extensive knowledge of crane, coke unit, and heavy equipment Experience in rail and rail car movements Experience in bulk materials, conveyor systems and heavy equipment Experience interacting with an hourly, salary and client based workforce Proven ability to focus on details, follow work rules and adhere to work schedules Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the Company and its insurers Experience with OSHA guidelines, policies, and procedures High School Diploma or GED required    Excellent communication skills – both oral and written Excellent organizational skills Efficient with standard office software programs (SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook, Managers Plus) Must be able to multi-task and set priorities Ability to manage confidential issues Here are some of the physical requirements for this role:  Must have the ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position: Work in an environment containing coal dust, hazardous noise, confined space, and in hot or cold environments Work at heights , climbing stairs, and climbing ladders Walk on uneven ground and up to 3 miles per shift Must have ability to wear required PPR Must be able to pass a fit test and pulmonary function test for the purposes of wearing a respirator and recertify annually or as needed Lift up to 50 pounds frequently #IND1
