Savage is seeking an experienced Accountant. This position will lead the accounting for the Company's leases, including month-end and year-end close procedures and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and have advanced Excel skills.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the accounting for the Company's leases and ensure compliance with ASC 842
  • Oversee monthly accounting close activities
  • Prepare monthly general ledger reconciliations
  • Assist in year-end financial audit by preparing and reviewing audit schedules, preparing footnotes and interacting with auditors
  • Work closely with team members from Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Operations and Legal to ensure complete, efficient and accurate financial reporting
  • Manage and ensure compliance with internal control policy for leases
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (MAcc or MBA a plus)
  • ASC 842 experience a plus
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience
  • Oracle knowledge a plus
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to complete assigned tasks with minimal direction
  • Possess strong planning skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset
