As the Finance Shared Services Manager, you will be a key leader in shaping the future of our financial operations in Latin America. You will lead and expand our Finance Shared Services Center (SSC) in Mexico, establishing a culture of continuous improvement, service excellence, and strategic partnership. This is a critical role where you will drive efficiency, ensure robust financial controls, and provide data-driven insights that empower business leaders to make informed decisions.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team up to 5 finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Champion a culture of service excellence, continuous improvement, and standardization across the SSC.
- Oversee succession planning and talent development to build a strong leadership pipeline.
- Evolve the SSC operating model to support business integration, acquisitions, and future regional expansion
- Drive Operational Excellence & Process Improvement:
- Direct transactional finance functions, including Accounts Payable, Banking, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management, ensuring maximum efficiency and superior service.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and automation to reduce costs and working capital.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and communicate the success and value of the SSC.
- Ensure Financial Integrity & Control:
- Own the month-end close process for all entities supported by the SSC, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure all account reconciliations are completed in accordance with to the expectations defined and all reconciliation differences are resolved and booked timely.
- Maintain a strong system of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Ensure all processes comply with local statutory regulations and global company policies.
- Act as a Strategic Business Partner:
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to business leaders on working capital, cash flow, and cost optimization and operational risks
- Partner with Global Tax, Treasury, and other finance functions to ensure alignment and provide guidance on local requirements.
- Translate financial data into actionable insights that support leadership decisions during growth, integration, and transformation phase
What You'll Bring (Qualifications)
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in a financial role.
- Demonstrated experience working within a large, multi-national manufacturing organization.
- Strong background in internal controls and process improvement methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree or other post-graduate degree.
- Experience with Oracle ERP systems.
- Proven expertise in leading technology-driven process automation projects.
