THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Case Assistant will help organize, prepare, edit, and draft documents and correspondence, draft formation and registration documentation, manage due diligence and track deadlines, manage records and internal team databases, create closing binders, and develop processes and procedures to enhance efficiency in serving clients.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
On any given day, you will interact with colleagues in a team setting on a variety of requests and projects and work directly with paralegals, attorneys, clients and third-party vendors. You will:
- Provide support in various aspects of case management for live litigation matters, including but not limited to: preparation of documents for production; and maintenance and organization of evidentiary data and case-related information.
- Compilation and organization of documents for witness preparation, depositions exhibits, hearing exhibits, and trial exhibits; perform fact research.
- Provide clerical litigation support for case teams as needed, including but not limited to: reformatting and printing large documents and spreadsheets, converting ESI to hard-copy formats, creating issue-based binders, preparing deposition summaries, and prepare and conduct court filings as backup support.
- Maintain best records management practices across wide array of case files and documentation, including tracking and organizing files electronically and in hard copy
- Perform data compilation, data cleanup, and QA on data transfer/data integrity.
YOU HAVE:
- Exceptional analytical ability, critical thinking, independent problem-solving, strong research skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to concisely summarize research findings
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Excellent attention to detail a must
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $53,000 annually, which is based on a 37.5 hour work week. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Seattle. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual merit increase and bonus pay.
