solvers with strong work ethics and they understand that customer satisfaction takes priority but efficient banquet 

operations make it possible. As a member of the Food and Beverage Banquets team, this position is responsible for 

creating an atmosphere that will inspire our guests.


SUMMARY:

Set up and/or breakdown tables and buffet or other special food service tables, stations and equipment according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO), layout and lists as well as provide banquet staff with equipment needs and service support.


WHAT YOU GET TO DO:

  • Follow set up diagrams to properly set a room to specifications, including but not limited to, arranging tables, chairs, audio visual equipment, dance floors and additional furniture; steaming linens, skirting tables, moving banquet equipment etc…
  • Organize equipment and maintain stock levels of essential inventory
  • Breaking down events and returning inventory/equipment to its proper storage space
  • Deliver equipment, furniture and products to off-site venues 
  • Maintain the organization and safety of banquet storage areas
  • Complete tasks within a specific timeline
  • Assist banquet team members and supervisors as needed
  • Understand the installation, set-up and operation of audio-visual equipment 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet kitchen and catering facilities


Requirements

  

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL: 

  • 3 months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club, or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Work independently and take direction
  • Maintain a high degree of organization, detail orientation and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to communicate effectively with and receive information from guests and coworkers
  • Consistently maintain a positive and professional attitude and demeanor
  • Possess a knowledge of local area, the hotel and resort amenities
  • Actively practice excellent customer service skills 
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
