SUMMARY:

The Food and Beverage Service Attendant sets-up, services, and breaks-down the food and beverage outlet ensuring a high level of quality, consistency and service, as well as acts as a host interacting with the guests of Shore Lodge Whitetail Club.


WHAT YOU GET TO DO:  

  • Provide an exceptional quality experience to our guests during their dining experience with us through exceeding proper service standards 
  • Set and clear tables, welcome guests, provide water service
  • Prepare orders, verify appropriate silverware and condiments as needed, place on the tray in a way that is appealing and secure for delivery.
  • Complete payment processing for orders, including delivery of the check and verifying payment method.
  • Stock side stations with proper amounts of silverware, glasses, cups, napkins, etc.
  • Expedite guest requests by delivering to guests as needed. 
  • Conduct in-room dining rounds and/or service corridor walk throughs to collect used dishes from rooms, beach and spa and respond to additional guest requests.      
  • Cutting and preparing Bread & Butter service
  • Clean service areas, restock service stations, complete side-work and assist other team members as needed.
  • Utilize the opening/closing checklists to prepare the restaurant for opening and closing. 
  • Support and participate in other duties as determined necessary by F&B Management.


Requirements

  

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • 3 months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club preferred
  • Able to communicate effectively with and receive information from guests and team members
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high degree of organization and remaining detail oriented
  • Present excellent customer service skills 
  • An enthusiasm for Shore Lodge Whitetail Club and the Food & Beverage world
  • Able to lift supplies or equipment on a large oval tray up to 40 pounds 
  • Able to count and read and write the English language
