The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.

 

SPA's Strategic Division's Regional Strike System Group (RSSG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering, Systems Safety, Modelling, Master Scheduling, and Financial Analysis support. RSSG has an immediate need for the Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) Major Program Manager's (MPM) Executive Assistant (EA) position located at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington D.C.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington D.C. Pay Transparency Salary range:  $130,000 – $160,000


Responsibilities

  • Provides on-site support on a daily basis. 

  • Ensures timely, proactive, and comprehensive administrative support handling sensitive information while exercising professionalism and discretion. 

  • Maintains the MPM's calendar including scheduling meetings, appointments, travel, and speaking engagements. 

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills. 

  • Drafts and edits executive correspondence. 

  • Advises the MPM of time-sensitive and priority issues. 

  • The individual must think ahead of what the mission needs are executing duties with exemplary time management skills.

  • Apply a professional demeanor with internal and external stakeholders to cultivate productive working relationships. 

  • Monitors the Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) tracking system and other tasking systems as required. 

  • Handles incoming requests to ensure communications are appropriately addressed. 

  • Ensures executive decisions are understood and carried out by the staff.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to work at Washington Navy Yard, full-time, five days per week.
  • 8+ years of experience providing executive administrative support and calendar management to SES, or senior military leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Active SECRET clearance.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional planning and communication skills.
  • Experience managing special projects and executive meetings.
  • Exhibits superior confidentiality, judgement, and discretion in performing duties.
  • High proficiency with MS Office, project management, and productivity tools including MS Teams.

Desired: 

  • Prior Navy service.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, business, or engineering.
  • Experience supporting a Navy acquisition program office, PAE Strategic Systems Programs, PAE Maritime, or PAE Undersea.
  • Familiarity with Navy performance evaluation system (fitness reports).
  • Familiarity with Navy process for obtaining approval to attend conferences and symposiums.
