The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention. SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. Pay Transparency Salary range: $100,000 – $150,000 Responsibilities The contract specialist's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, supporting the following efforts: Contract Management: Draft, update, and consolidate contract artifacts (SOW, CDRLs, ELINs, funding documents, trackers) Modification Support: Compile and prepare modification packages, request memos, POA&Ms, presentations, and milestone tracking. Financial Oversight: Draft funding forms, create/maintain CLIN funding matrices, analyze funds vs. execution, and track incentives. Market Research & Acquisition: Draft Sources Sought Notices, limited SOWs, conduct/document market research, and support D&F/J&A preparation. Progress Tracking & Reporting: Maintain trackers, monitor deliverables, analyze CLIN progress, and generate reports/presentations. Qualifications Required Qualifications: U.S. citizen with DoD security clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain clearance while employed with SPA. Bachelor's degree. Ability to work at Washington Navy Yard. Three (3) or more years of professional experience providing contract management support. Exceptional writing abilities. Self-motivated with strong work ethic, time management, and interpersonal skills. Desired Qualifications: Professional experience working with FAR/DFARS/NMCARS Contracts Management for Navy or DoD programs and major acquisition program contracts. Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).
