The Intelligence Programs Group (IPG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, is a specialized provider of systems engineering and trusted advisory services to the Space and National Intelligence community. We utilize mission-proven, data-driven advisory tools and capabilities. We provide highly technical support to ensure the government acquires cutting edge technology necessary for our National Defense. Our portfolio includes the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Come where you will be part of our high-caliber team! SPA's IPG has a need for a Financial Analyst Intern at our Chantilly, VA location. Timeline for intern selection: Applications can be submitted and will be reviewed thru 1 April 2026. Interviews will be ongoing and conclude by 15 April 2026. Offers/decisions will be extended by 30 April 2026. Responsibilities Learn and gain experience through providing analytic and financial data analysis support for important DoD and Intelligence Community acquisition activities. This position will provide you with exposure to and expected participation in policy and program research, light data analysis, and development of presentations for senior leadership, focusing on budget and acquisition activities. Qualifications Required Qualifications: US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance Candidates must be actively enrolled in an accredited, degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate program and have at least one semester remaining following the internship Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Managment, Accounting, or similar field Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to synthesize data and communicate clearly via written and verbal means Proficient in using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to communicate to decision makers Ability to report to designated work location in Chantilly, VA, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer Desired Qualifications: Proactive interest in learning new skills and engaging new challenges Strong customer service skills, with interest in proactively anticipating and addressing client needs Experience with advance analytics such as Tableau
