The Strategic Division (SD) supports high-reliability organizations including Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center, and the Department of Energy (DOE), among others. Our support across our client base is expanding rapidly and encompasses important services, such as data analytics and visualization, threat analysis, risk management, modeling and simulation, cost estimating, earned value management, program management, system engineering, independent evaluation, and High Consequence Event prevention.
SPA's Strategic Division's Strategic Development Group (SDG) supports critical U.S. government programs providing Systems Engineering support, Systems Safety support and Financial Analysis support. SDG is hiring immediately for a Financial Analyst to support Strategic Systems Programs at the Washington Navy Yard.

Responsibilities
The Financial Analyst will provide direct support to Strategic Systems Programs Launcher Branch (SP22). The analyst's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Financial Support: Track client budgets, contract requirements, and related financial information to enable effective contract and program management and inform client decision making.
- Budgeting Support: Assist the client in budget development, annual budget cycle execution, documenting and tracking budgetary decisions and actions, and responding to external data calls.
- Programmatic Support: Provide support to the client in drafting documents, organizing program meetings with stakeholders, conducting various data analyses based on available information, drafting reports and presentations, and monitoring deliverables.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen with Active DoD SECRET clearance (TOP SECRET strongly preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in an analytical major, such as (but not limited to): computer science, data science, data analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, business analytics, etc.
- Ability to work 5 days per week in person at the Washington Navy Yard.
- Comfortable and experienced with advanced capabilities in Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Pivot Tables, VBA Macros); at least 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Proactive and responsive problem solver with strong in-person and written communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience providing financial analysis and program management support to Department of War clients.
- Proficiency with building and presenting data analysis and data visualization.
- Experience working with Strategic Systems Programs (SSP).
