SPA has a need for a Master Scheduler. The Integrated Master Scheduler is a critical role responsible for the development, maintenance, and analysis of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for Advanced Fires Project Office efforts. This individual will work closely with project managers, technical leads, and other stakeholders to ensure that all project activities are properly planned, tracked, and reported to meet project goals on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
The role involves developing and maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) while collaborating with Army and Industry partners to create and manage a comprehensive schedule encompassing all project tasks, dependencies, and resources. Key responsibilities include performing critical path analysis to identify and manage the project's most essential tasks and working closely with project teams to gather scheduling information, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. The position also requires generating periodic reports on schedule status, performance, and key metrics, analyzing schedule variances, and recommending corrective actions as needed. Additionally, identifying and assessing potential schedule risks and developing mitigation strategies are integral to the role. A continuous focus on improving scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies is essential. Travel requirements for this role amount to approximately 10%.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Logistics Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or Project Management
- Proficiency with scheduling software like Microsoft Project or Primavera P6
- 10 years of logistics experience supporting an Army program office
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Experience preparing briefings and documentation for senior leadership
- Possess an active SECRET clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
