Description

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
  • BS, MS, or PhD in a relevant technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Statistics
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, modeling and simulation, and/or optics
  • Competency with MatLab
  • Familiarity with Unit Testing 
  • Optics experience, with experience in optical design
  • Stray light analysis
  • Software programs such as ZMAX and Fred
  • Overall understanding of mathematical analysis and predicative modeling
  • Familiarity with basic software development
  • Familiarity with GIT version control

Reports to Albuquerque, NM, up to full-time, based upon the needs of the client.

Desired Skill:

    • Experience in optical engineering software FRED and/or Zemax
    • Experience in multiple domain physics
    • Experience with Monte Carlo simulation
    • Competence with Python and C++
    • Active DoD Clearance

  • Use your skills in statistics, mathematics, and programming to analyze datasets, and build predictive models and simulations in a mission first team. 
  • Provide space system threat assessments and analysis in support of current and future US architectures.
  • Lead and execute cross-domain threat system studies and analysis that supports decision makers information gaps and needs.
