SPA is seeking a Sr. Pricing Analyst responsible for defining, developing, evaluating, and overseeing the implementation of pricing models and strategies designed to optimize revenue, market share, and elevate divisional profits. The position will be located at SPA's HQ offices in Alexandria, Virginia.
Responsibilities

- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
- Builds partnerships with Business Development, Finance, and DL/GL to correctly position and establish pricing programs aligned with strategies and revenue recognition requirements.
- Acts as mentor and adviser to DL/GL leaders as well as staff members to establish critical project milestones, related activities and schedule constraints.
- Monitors the ongoing business environment to ensure competitive pricing/market position and directs the development and analysis of pricing models and projections.
- Oversees the implementation of pricing proposals across the organization.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Must participate in and prepare for strategy and pricing meetings.
- Must be competent in software programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related field
- 5+ years of experience with federal government contract pricing
- Experience with professional services or systems development proposals
- Knowledge of the FAR, the government acquisition process
- Ability to analyze and communicate effectively with senior leadership
- Ability to work flexible hours in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
Strong background and understanding of government contracts
Excellent written and oral communication skills
US citizenship is required
Desired Qualifications:
- Active DoD Security Clearance
- Cost Estimating, Contract Management, or Proposal Management Certification
Pay Range Information

Elements of the compensation package include competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities. The specific programs and options available to any given employee may vary depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, etc. Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $115,000.00/Yr. - USD $180,000.00/Yr.
