The Sea, Land, Air Analysis Group's mission is to deliver objective analyses, plans and strategies to US Navy, US Marine Corps, US Air Force, other DoD, and Australian Defence Force clients to support technology development, acquisition, delivery and sustainment decisions. The group provides the core of SPA thought leadership on Undersea Strategy, Software Development and Cost Estimating, with additional benchmark capabilities in AI/ML & Decision Analytics, Modeling and Simulation, and Future Force Assessments.

 

SPA has an immediate need for a Program Management / Acquisition Analyst to support strategic acquisitions, innovation initiatives, and mission partner requirements development. The role provides Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) to the directorate responsible for deliberate operational planning and integrated program management across U‑A portfolios. #KS


Responsibilities

The Program Management / Acquisition Analyst will apply expert knowledge of DoW and federal acquisition processes to help develop, review, and manage program‑level acquisition packages. This includes maintaining quality assurance standards, creating acquisition templates, tracking package status, and reporting progress to leadership. Additional responsibilitiles include guiding Government teams on the Strategic Management Tool and Requirements Approval Document processes, conducting market research, supporting acquisition strategy development, and analyzing new or revised acquisition policies to advise Government stakeholders.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5-15 years of experience with DoD and federal acquisition policies
  • Skilled in program management support, requirements development, and market research
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with Government stakeholders and Mission Partners
  • Proficient in maintaining accurate program metrics and tracking systems
  • Must hold an active SECRET clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
