The Strategic Technology Analysis Group (STAG), part of SPA's Space and Intelligence Division, offers sophisticated capabilities (people, process & tools) to resolve unique problems in space, cyber, and special operations in support to military services, Secretary of Defense offices (OSD) and theater warfighters. SPA has an immediate need for a Project Management & Technical Advisor.
Responsibilities
Seeking a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) contractor to provide project execution, integration, and test support to a fast-paced DoW Research & Development (R&D) office. The successful candidate will coordinate technical and operational activities across stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of mission-focused initiatives. This role emphasizes execution tracking, planning and conducting test and demonstration events, and developing concise communications to inform senior leadership. You will bring strong DoW program execution experience, stakeholder coordination skills, and the ability to translate technical efforts into actionable outcomes.
- Project Execution Support
- Coordinate day-to-day project activities to align technical efforts, schedules, and mission objectives.
- Support Project Manager in tracking execution progress, managing dependencies, and mitigating risks.
- Develop and maintain integrated schedules, milestone trackers, and action item lists.
- Prepare project documentation, execution plans, and leadership briefings.
- Coordinate project reviews, working groups, and technical exchange meetings.
- Test & Demonstration Execution
- Support planning and execution of test and demonstration events across multiple stakeholders.
- Assist in development of test objectives, execution plans, and evaluation criteria.
- Coordinate participants, logistics, scheduling, and site requirements.
- Track demonstration outcomes and capture lessons learned.
- Support transition planning following test and demonstration activities.
- Stakeholder Coordination & Communications
- Facilitate coordination among government stakeholders, performers, and operational partners.
- Track action items and ensure alignment across technical and operational teams.
- Develop executive briefings and status updates summarizing progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Provide clear communications to support leadership decision-making and project alignment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years supporting DoW R&D, acquisition, or technical programs
- Experience coordinating program execution across multiple stakeholders
- Experience supporting test events, demonstrations, or operational evaluations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive briefing development
- Ability to report to designated work location in Chantilly, VA, in a secure SCIF/SAPF space, up to full time, based on the needs of the customer
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting rapid prototyping or advanced capability development programs
- Background in systems integration, operational testing, or demonstration planning
- Familiarity with DoW program management processes and execution tracking
- Experience operating in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
