SPA's Air Force and Army Programs Portfolio provides aviation-focused analysis and program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear C3, and integrated air and missile defense planning. We provide advanced studies, wargame development, and analysis to support materiel operations, supply strategies, and fleet readiness. SPA has an immediate need for a Release Train Engineer to support our customer at Beale Air Force Base, CA. Responsibilities Responsibilities include managing the software development and integration process for large (ACAT-1) military acquisition programs. The engineer will translate acquisition and operational priorities into executable software development and integration plans. This position will assist with C2 system transition to operations, including tactics and CONOPS development, aligning system development with expected training and planning, providing guidance to program management organizations and MAJCOMs on standing up operational squadron(s). Includes CONUS and OCONUS travel. Salary: 180-195k. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in a science or engineering field; current/active TS/SCI, current/recent DoD SAP access, subject to counterintelligence (CI) polygraph 7+ years' experience supporting national security programs as an engineer, systems engineer, and/or or in a technical program management capacity. Acquisition, operational, and/or engineering experience monitoring program execution and integration of complex C2 systems Relevant experience developing, reviewing, and coordination software development documentation for statements of work, technical evaluations, and integration
