The Joint Defense Support Group, within SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division, supports the Surface Community and components of the United States Navy by providing program management, requirements management, force development, and readiness support in Washington DC and the Fleet concentration areas. We provide timely, objective, analytic assessments, strategic planning, and expert operational, technical, and acquisition support to the Maritime communities, and related agencies, allies, and partners. We are trusted agents of the senior and operational leadership in the Fleet, OPNAV, NAVSEA, and the Royal Canadian and Royal Australian Navies. We play key roles in providing insights and strategies to address current and emerging challenges to national security and have tremendous impact on our client's success in solving their most important issues. SPA has a near-term need for Senior MCM Doctrine Analyst.#FC Responsibilities Support and design test and data collection plans for exercises Serve as observer aboard exercise units to coordinate observation and data collection efforts to support doctrine and tactical development Develop exercise messages and reports Support reconstruction of exercise events Support doctrine / TTP validation and product modifications Analyzes exercise results IAW the Execution Plan Support new concept tactical development and emerging system analysis Salary Range: $136,000 - $141,000 Qualifications Required Qualifications: Fifteen years of Navy experience relating to surface/aircraft/expeditionary MCM operations and warfare tasks Four years of experience in managing projects or programs Ability to prepare briefings, reports, and correspondence that are technically correct Excellent analytical problem-solving skills Excellent oral and writing skills Staff level assignments are highly desirable Secret Clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
