We are seeking a Systems Software Engineer for immediate employment in our Huntsville office. #MC Responsibilities We are looking for a Systems Software Engineer to join our team to support IFMC Project Office, AMD Mission Command Product Office, FAAD C2. The successful candidate will assist in the architecture, requirements, development, and execution of software analysis tools for the FAAD C2 program. Their background in software development and/or systems engineering will assist in the creation of analysis tools for Army Air and Missile Defense systems with a focus on Mission Command systems. The selected candidate will also use their expertise to support the evaluation of algorithms, requirements, software artifacts, and other program-related information to assist government customers. Qualifications Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering 1-5 years of relevant software development work in C++, Java, Python or C# in a technical or engineering field Demonstratable ability to analyze technical problems and develop solutions to them Experience in embedded, real-time, or distributed software development Ability to travel domestically and to foreign countries for 1-2 weeks at a time (Travel < 20% of the time) Residency in Huntsville, AL area or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL Area US Citizenship and an active SECRET security clearance throughout employment Preferred Qualifications Experience with software development in tactical command and control, weapons or sensor systems Experience with data analysis on large scale data sets from multiple sources Experience working at test sites, in support of data analysis and software validation/verification
