The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced financial leader to serve as our Director of Finance, providing strategic financial leadership and guidance across SRC Automotive's operations.

This position is responsible for leading the company's financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial performance. The Director of Finance will partner closely with the leadership team to translate financial results into actionable business insights, strengthen financial processes and controls, and help ensure the organization is making informed decisions that support both near-term performance and long-term growth.

What You'll Do

  • Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, balance sheets, and reports for government regulatory agencies
  • Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial programs and supporting information systems of the Company
  • Approve, and coordinate changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company
  • Manage and directs the organization's financial goals, budget preparation, and internal audit functions 
  • Appraise the Company's financial position, issues periodic financial and operating reports and handles financing/banking relationships
  • Design strategic business plans and executes tactics to achieve these plans
  • Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities, projecting acquisition and expansion prospects
  • Analyze organization operations identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement
  • Meet regularly with department heads to provide consultative support through financial and management information analyses, reports, and recommendations 
  • Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profit against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals
  • Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be expanded, reorganized, downsized or eliminated
  • Estimate requirements for capital, land, buildings, and other pro forma items in respect to future growth and opportunities for expansion including merger and acquisition activities
  • Initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position and develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism
  • Build and develop strong relationships with internal and external customers with the intent to develop solutions to new situations and identify and correct problems
  • Stay abreast of legal, technological, and managerial issues and ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal laws and regulations
  • Supervise employees including employee selection, development, and disciplinary action
  • Conduct performance evaluations for subordinate personnel to ensure a well-qualified and motivated department while providing team players with professional and personal growth opportunities
  • Ensure talent development and succession planning within the department's staff
  • Participate in and supports the principles of Open Book Management and recognizes the responsibilities of being an employee-owner of the company. 


Who you are:

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or MBA equivalent work experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • Ten years of financial management experience
  • Prefer Director level accounting experience in a manufacturing organization
  • Strongly prefer CPA and/or CMA designation
  • Appropriate professional image with high ethical standards
  • Experienced in negotiations and contracts
  • Able to make judgments and decisions considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication and organizational skills are required in order to communicate clearly and persuasively with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization
  • Good educator, trustworthy and willing to share information and serve as a mentor
  • Current financial and accounting computer application knowledge, in-depth knowledge of MS Office
  • Possess strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Continued education as needed
