Job Title: Associate, Tax Reporting – Regulatory Services
Locations: New York City (hybrid)
About the Role
The Associate, Tax Reporting, Regulatory Services will be responsible for supporting the preparation, review, and filing of various tax reports for SS&C Technologies' clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. This role involves data analysis, reconciliation, and interaction with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate accurate and timely reporting.

How You Will Make an Impact
- Assist in the review and digitization of tax forms (e.g., IRS forms and self-certifications)
- Perform data extraction, manipulation, and reconciliation from various internal systems to support tax reporting processes
- Investigate and resolve tax-related data discrepancies and exceptions in a timely manner
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, client service, technology) to gather necessary information and address reporting issues
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and reporting requirements impacting SS&C's clients and services
- Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives within the tax reporting function
- Assist in responding to inquiries from clients, auditors, and tax authorities regarding tax reporting matters
- Maintain accurate and organized records of tax filings and supporting documentation
- Participate in testing of system enhancements related to tax reporting functionality
Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 0-2 years of experience in tax, financial services operations, or a regulatory reporting environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data manipulation)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
What Sets You Apart
- Familiarity with tax reporting (e.g., FATCA, CRS) is a plus
- Experience with financial services platforms or tax compliance software is an advantage
