What You Will Get To Do:

The Client Change Lead supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of client initiatives within the Transfer Agency (TA) function. Working closely with external and internal stakeholders, Client Experience and Operations teams, the role drives operational and client-facing change initiatives from requirements gathering and analysis through to implementation, process adoption and sustainable change management.

This position plays a key role in ensuring change initiatives are delivered efficiently, aligned with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements and business growth priorities. The Client Change Lead collaborates across TA teams to design and implement operational processes, enhance the client experience, and embed lasting improvements that strengthen organisational performance.

Success in the role is measured by the timely and accurate delivery of change initiatives, effective stakeholder and client relationship management, and positive feedback on communication, collaboration and overall delivery outcomes.

  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of business and client change initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, client commitments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Transfer Agency Operations, Client Experience, and Line 1 Risk teams to drive successful cross-functional outcomes.
  • Define and document initiative objectives, scope, deliverables, success measures, and key stakeholder requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end scoping activities, identifying business requirements, operational impacts, dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.
  • Apply consistent change management methodologies, governance standards, and delivery frameworks across all initiatives.
  • Manage change initiatives through the full lifecycle, from discovery and planning through to implementation, transition, and post-go-live support.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, risk, compliance, audit, and quality assurance requirements throughout the delivery process.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources, and deliverables to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Monitor initiative progress, manage scope changes, and provide clear, timely reporting to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, fund managers, custodians, and third-party service providers to define requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to support engagement, collaboration, and successful change adoption.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, decisions, and key insights effectively across business and operational teams.
  • Proactively identify, assess, escalate, and manage risks, issues, and dependencies to minimise delivery impacts.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure deliverables are accurate, complete, and meet agreed standards.
  • Embed risk management and control practices throughout all stages of change planning and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation to support audit, governance, compliance, and operational requirements.
  • Create, maintain, and update document templates, process documentation, procedures, and other supporting artefacts to ensure consistency and operational effectiveness.
  • Coordinate and implement configuration changes across Core Registry, Statements, Documents, and Forms in line with fund manager requirements and business priorities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to stakeholders across business, operations, and project teams throughout the change lifecycle.
  • Support the successful adoption and embedding of new processes, systems, and ways of working through guidance, training, and stakeholder engagement.

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in financial services, including at least 5+ years within Unit Registry, Fund Administration, Custody, or related Asset Servicing functions.
  • Strong understanding of Transfer Agency, registry, custody, and fund administration operations, including the end-to-end investor servicing lifecycle.
  • Experience leading or supporting change initiatives such as fund launches, fund closures, transitions, client onboarding, regulatory change, or operational transformation projects.
  • Experience applying project delivery, change management, and governance frameworks, including Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, assess impacts, identify risks, and develop effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated client-facing experience with strong stakeholder management, relationship-building, and engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear and actionable outcomes for diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
  • Demonstrated resilience, drive, and adaptability, with the ability to navigate complexity, manage ambiguity, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to coordinate, guide, and influence specialist teams and subject matter experts to achieve business and client objectives.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality, risk, or control standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, and operational decision support.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills, enabling effective issue identification, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
  • Sound knowledge of business transformation, operational change, and process improvement methodologies.
