Job Summary

The Dealing Administrator S2 will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of investment dealing activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. This role involves supporting fund managers and clients with their trading needs, maintaining data integrity, and contributing to the efficient operation of the dealing desk.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Execute and process investment dealing instructions accurately and in a timely manner across various asset classes (e.g., equities, fixed income, funds).

  • Verify and reconcile trade details with brokers and custodians to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Monitor trade settlements and proactively address any issues or delays.

  • Prepare and dispatch trade confirmations, statements, and other relevant documentation to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain accurate records of all dealing activities in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Assist with the onboarding of new clients and funds, ensuring all dealing-related setup is completed correctly.

  • Respond to client and fund manager inquiries regarding dealing activities, providing clear and concise information.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of dealing processes and systems, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting solutions.

  • Participate in testing of new systems or system enhancements related to dealing operations.

  • Ensure adherence to all relevant compliance, regulatory, and risk management policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including fund accounting, operations, and compliance.

What You Will Bring:

  • Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dealing with an administration or middle office role within the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to fund administration.

  • Strong understanding of various financial instruments and investment dealing processes.

  • Proficiency in using investment management systems and trading platforms.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements is an advantage.
