Financial Services Operations Representative II

Locations: Kansas City, MO | Hybrid

In your role as an Financial Services Operations Representative II, you will be providing transaction-processing services with a service orientated approach for our Institutional clients. You will work as part of a team to provide proactive and innovative solutions with a high attention to detail and accuracy. This role will be primarily operational in nature; however, you will also have opportunity to interact with clients while working to research and resolve open items. What You Will Get To Do:

  • Perform daily account activities to provide world-class service to our customers by processing complex service requests with efficiency and accuracy to meet multiple intra-day deadlines. 
  • After training, execute service requests, which include purchases, redemptions, transfers, exchanges, account maintenance and new account set-up.
  • Meet and surpass quality and productivity objectives within current role; bringing a quality mindset to all aspects of the work.
  • Assist team in overall performance deliverables by ensuring workflow queues are managed and cleared daily to meet client expectations.
  • Review transactions for quality, ensuring the accuracy of the work entered; escalating areas of concern as needed for quality improvement purposes. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients.
  • On occasion, work with clients over the phone in order to resolve complex issues. 
  • Utilize internal and external resources to maintain a working knowledge of relevant account and industry trends.
  • Take initiative to cross train in different areas to expand knowledge, develop new skills to develop career within the organization.
  • Lead and collaborates as a liaison between cross-functional teams and external parties.
  • Assist with training others as new hires onboard and/or cross training needs are identified.

What You Will Bring:

  • Service related skill sets with ability to maintain a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and possess strong problem solving and resolution skills.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to remain adaptable and flexible with change.
  • Demonstrated computer skills with the ability to navigate and toggle between multiple programs simultaneously to perform daily functions.  Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel & Outlook. Experience with AWD, TA2000, Control Workstation and other banking software platforms are beneficial but not required.
  • Self-motivation with demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a virtual environment.
  • Ability to interpret written and telephone requests/issues accurately and supply appropriate follow-up action as necessary.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree with related industry experience preferred.
  • Banking, investment or a financial background preferred.
  • At least one to two years of previous customer service experience within retail, banking or financial services preferred.
  • Access to high-speed internet in order to meet remote work requirements.
