Job Description
Job Summary**
This role involves supporting the operational processes and infrastructure for critical financial systems, ensuring their stability, performance, and security within SS&C Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd.
Job Responsibilities**
* Perform daily operational checks and monitoring of financial applications and systems.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams.
* Execute scheduled maintenance tasks, system upgrades, and patching activities.
* Document operational procedures, system configurations, and incident resolutions.
* Assist in the deployment and configuration of new software releases and enhancements.
* Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
* Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth system operations.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency and reliability.
* Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 1-3 years of experience in an IT operations or support role, preferably within the financial services industry.
* Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and database technologies (SQL Server, Oracle).
* Basic understanding of networking concepts and infrastructure components.
* Experience with monitoring tools and incident management systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred.
