What You Will Get to Do:           

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in leading and supporting a cross-functional project team—including architects, business analysts, developers, and QA specialists. You will apply best-practice methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, meet quality standards, align with business objectives, and adhere to governance requirements. Additionally, you will engage with both client and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

  • Elicit, validate, and document requirements, ensuring alignment with analysis standards and best practices.
  • Verify business and system solutions to ensure they deliver value and maintain high service quality.
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, to drive alignment and shared success.
  • Facilitate workshops and refinement sessions, proactively following-up on action items to achieve agreed outcomes.
  • Develop data load specifications, data mapping, and user stories with detailed acceptance criteria to support successful implementation.
  • Provide ongoing support to the delivery team through all stages of the project.
  • Ensure requirement traceability and solution alignment through close collaboration with developers, testers, and stakeholders, supporting thorough validation across the delivery lifecycle.
  • Manage risks, issues, and dependencies with timely escalation to ensure smooth delivery.

What You Will Bring:

  • 5+ years of business analysis or equivalent experience.
  • Wealth Management experience in superannuation, investment, or insurance services.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills across all levels.
  • Skilled in facilitating workshops and collaborative sessions.
  • Expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
  • Proficient with business analysis tools such as Visio (with BPMN notation), MIRO, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and prioritise client needs while effectively solving problems and working as part of a team.
  • Clear and concise communicator who actively listens and values diverse perspectives.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in dynamic, changing environments.
  • Experienced in mentoring and guiding business analysts and project teams.
  • Collaborative team player who also thrives when working independently.
  • Industry certifications such as IIBA ECBA/CCBA, IIBA AAC, or Scrum Master are welcomed but not mandatory
