About the Role

SS&C Algorithmics is seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst with minimum of 10 years of Algo Credit Manager (ACM) solution experience to provide our clients and prospects in the UK and Northern Europe with a comprehensive range of skills to support the implementation of end-to-end ACM solution as well as assisting our London based ACM pre-sales team.

This role focuses on delivering product specialist knowledge of our ACM solution and hands-on working experience in ACM solution is a must.

Your Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze and design solutions using Algo Credit Manager (ACM) solution to address our clients' business requirements such as but not limited to
    • ACM configurations
    • Risk Modeling for Banking and Trading Book Products
    • Workflow and DLA Configuration
    • Widgets and Page Configuration
    • Excess Management Configuration
    • RAROC Configuration
    • ABIS Functional Configuration
    • BIRT reports Design
    • Workflow Integration with External Source Systems
  • Implement, research, and consult on Credit Lifecycle Management, workflow design and parameterization, risk modeling and validation activities using Algo Credit Manager (ACM) solution.
  • Provide consulting services to clients during implementation of ACM solution, models, processes, applications, and reports focused on credit risk concepts, methodologies.
  • Research and generate workflows and risk models to meet client requirements in accordance with industry standards and requirements using ACM solution.
  • Assists clients with workflow and risk modeling design, and verification during software implementation with use of ACM solution to achieve project objectives.  
  • Provide detailed use cases and feedback to product management for solution enhancements related to ACM solution, accounting for client specific requirements.
  • Document and support product configurations in accordance with clients' requirements and component capabilities.
  • Configure input data mapping for reporting / aggregation components, and design / build custom configuration and logic, and report views to display various portfolio level measures utilizing hierarchies, multiple dimensions, filters / aggregation keys. 
  • Document business requirements, data mapping and data definitions, system designs, configuration specs, calculation logic, use-cases, client processes, and workflows and financial specifications. 
  • Configure complete risk modeling from transaction to facility to customer level risk.
  • Configure RAROC Calculations using the PFP Calculator module.
  • Configure end-to-end Excess Management workflow.
  • Draft release notes and manage release deployments for all client releases, clearly

communicating changes and enhancements.

  • Support SIT and UAT phases, working closely with client users to facilitate testing, gather

feedback, and resolve issues.

  • Conduct research, data collection and analysis to prepare, present and deliver recommendations and solutions to our client.
  • Work with various SS&C stakeholders including product owners, development teams and services teams, and with client stakeholders to deliver robust solutions using ACM solution.
  • Recommend and leverage best practices during the implementation of Credit Lifecycle Management solution using ACM solution.
  • Support pre and post-sales activities by providing financial/actuarial/technical support materials and demos for clients working closely with our London based pre-sales team.
  • Provide assistance in training clients in ACM solution.
  • Ability to travel within EMEA to address client's onsite requirements for short durations when they arise, possibly 2 weeks onsite in a 6-8 week period. Travel generally does not exceed 40%, but it will depend on client requirements.

Your Experience

  • Hands-on working experience in ACM solution is a must 
  • At least 10 years of experience in ACM solution implementations covering design and build work related to workflow, risk models, limits, excess management and reporting aspects of the implementations
  • Applies professional knowledge related to credit lifecycle to workflow design, credit risk modelling and limit management using ACM solution.
  • Has conceptual and applied knowledge and experience in credit lifecycle management and risk management functions, specifically on loan origination (specifically corporate and SME segments) and relevant processes. Good understanding of credit business within a bank including limit management functions.
  • Degree in the field of Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Applied Science, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in discovery, solution design, and implementation documentation.
  • In‑depth understanding of credit risk management and credit application workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with risk modeling and excess management frameworks.
  • Experience with testing and design of ACM integration with external source systems.
  • Active involvement in release management and supporting live production systems.
  • Active involvement in SIT and UAT testing cycles with client-facing support.
  • Experienced in project reporting, providing clear and timely status updates.
  • Experience and knowledge in REST queries, ABIS, and generating actionable reports.
  • Oral communication in English

  • Ability to address and use initiative to deliver solutions to technical and business problems
  • Ability and desire to adapt, learn and explore new technologies
  • High degree of initiative and learning to work with complex software products with minimal supervision
  • Capacity to estimate, manage own work and keep within plan
