Job Description:

The Senior Product Manager role is responsible for defining business requirements for global wealth management clients as part of the Product Management team. You will gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancement requests submitted by internal stakeholders and external clients across the Global Wealth Platform (GWP) book of business. GWP is a combined software‑and‑services offering that delivers extensive functionality across multiple jurisdictions. The wealth management industry's unique product and regulatory demands require a deep understanding of both domains to be effective in this role.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping requirements for global wealth management clients within SS&C's Product Management organization. You will focus on analyzing and documenting enhancement requests related to GWP—SS&C's integrated platform that supports clients operating across various regulatory environments. Success in this role requires strong analytical capabilities, deep industry insight, and effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams, including Product Management, Development, Quality Assurance, and Client Implementation.

What You Will Get To Do:

  • Define and document business requirements for Global Wealth Platform (GWP) enhancement requests from internal and external stakeholders, applying a strong understanding of GWP's integrated software‑and‑services model and its multi‑jurisdictional regulatory and product requirements.
  • Conduct business analysis to efficiently identify, articulate, and validate business needs.
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive business requirements for review and approval by Product Managers.
  • Collaborate with development teams to refine, develop, and evaluate approved requirements.
  • Assist in managing and prioritizing incoming requests to ensure alignment with product strategy and team capacity.
  • Support audits of applications managed by the product team to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational integrity.
  • Produce detailed requirements‑analysis documentation to support the development of cost‑effective, client‑focused information management solutions.
  • Deliver training, demonstrations, and knowledge‑transfer sessions to end users as needed.

What You Will Bring:

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven ability to support application development, quality assurance, and user acceptance teams throughout the full development lifecycle.
  • Experience in the financial services or securities industry (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of SQL (SQL Server) to develop queries for analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with business‑level testing.

Essential Skills & Requirements:

  • Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • A university degree in finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; or a relevant professional designation such as CPA or CFA.
  • Strong technical aptitude, business intelligence, and a solid understanding of customer needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly engage both external clients and internal teams.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to serve as an effective bridge between development, product, and implementation teams.
