- A hospital in California is looking for an experienced Home Health RN for a travel assignment.
- The right candidate will have more than 2 years of experience.
- Hold an active BLS and CA license.
- Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- Active BLS certification
- Active CA license
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: HCHB- HomeCare HomeBase preferred
- Schedule Information
- 5 days a week
- 8-hour shifts
- Schedule usually completed by the previous day
- Common changes to the schedule in the morning
- Scheduling flexibility: Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday preferred
- No standby requirement
- Unit Specific Information
- Common diagnosis/types of patients/patient demographics: CHF/COPD/wounds/some wound vacs/IV-PICC lines
- Home Health Aide available in the department
- Shifts & Scheduling: Schedule complexity, block scheduling details
- Weekend requirements: Flexibility, specific days preferred
- Holiday requirements: Availability for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas
- Floating requirements: Home Health only
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any work-appropriate scrubs
- Additional Details
- No Peds. Most patients are recently discharged from the hospital and at high risk for rehospitalization. CHF, COPD, wounds, some wound vacs, IV-PICC lines.
- BLS and mileage will be paid per GSA guidelines.
- Experience in Home Health/Hospice aids preferred.
