Description
Under immediate supervision, the FA-Advised Programs Analyst works on all aspects of their respective advisory programs. Analysts collaborate with the Program Manager, Financial Advisors (FAs), Advisory Operations, and other groups inside of Stifel. The primary mission of our program management team is to ensure efficient and effective management of advisory programs while delivering first class service to our advisors.
What We're Looking For
• Run point on field-facing communications, including on-demand and ad hoc advisor training. The role is responsible for designing, updating, and implementing basic program resources for advisors. The role is also the lead on (but not solely responsible for) proactive outreach to advisors on opportunities and challenges.
• Collaborate with Program Manager on monitoring and analyzing Advisor Driven programs.
• Interact with FAs providing program details and analysis.
• Interface with Advisory Operations and Advisory Compliance to resolve items regarding accounts, fees, trading, and other issues.
• Coordinate with the Advisory Marketing team to ensure appropriate program information is shared with FAs.
• Responsible for the maintenance of documentation and program files.
• Special projects and other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
• Outstanding interpersonal skills. This role requires frequent out-bound contact with financial advisors and internal partners. Qualified candidates must be comfortable initiating communication, managing multiple workstreams concurrently, and have the discernment to (de)escalate situations as appropriate.
• General knowledge of investment securities, investment strategy and theory, asset allocation, investment statistics, and brokerage industry. Ability to analyze program details with a business framework.
• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
• Ability to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Education & Experience
• Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree
• Minimum Required: 1-3 years' investment industry experience
Licenses & Credentials
• Minimum Required: Series 7, 63 and 65 (Series 66 in lieu of 63 and 65) within 12 months of hire
Systems & Technology
• Proficient in standard office applications (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, CoPilot) #LI-JK1
