Description

The Structured Investments Specialist I supports the Structured Investments Desk by assisting with the origination, structuring, execution, and lifecycle management of customized structured products, including equity , rate , and FX linked notes, warrants, and market linked CDs. The role combines capital markets exposure with strong technical and analytical capabilities, leveraging data analysis, automation, and programming skills (Python, SQL, VBA) to enhance pricing support, trade workflows, reporting, and controls. The position works closely with senior desk members, issuers, Financial Advisors, and internal partners in a highly regulated, detail oriented environment



What We're Looking For

• Execute day to day activities related to the origination and structuring of customized structured products, including preparing pricing requests, coordinating execution logistics, and completing product setup.
• Contribute to the ongoing operation and evolution of the structured investments platform by assisting with product updates, process enhancements, and documentation.
• Engage directly with Financial Advisors by addressing inquiries, delivering indicative pricing, and explaining product structures, mechanics, and potential use cases.
• Coordinate with issuing counterparties on issuance timelines, execution requirements, and trade details, while maintaining accurate issuer and product records.
• Manage active deal flow by reviewing trade terms, reconciling data, and ensuring accurate and timely entry of transactions into internal systems.
• Participate in primary issuance and secondary market activity by processing liquidity requests and supporting trade execution workflows.
• Apply analytical and technical skills — including Python, SQL, and VBA — to perform pricing analysis, build reports, validate data, and automate recurring desk processes.
• Produce and update educational and marketing materials and contribute to advisor training sessions and desk presentations.
• Partner with operations, compliance, legal, and infrastructure teams to resolve trade, documentation, and data related issues.
• Maintain complete and accurate transaction records and operate in full compliance with firm policies and applicable FINRA, TRACE, SEC, and state and federal regulations.



What You'll Bring

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex, time sensitive transactions.
• Foundational understanding of structured investments, derivatives, and capital markets, with particular exposure to equity linked products.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude, including experience with Python for data analysis, SQL for data extraction and validation, and VBA for Excel automation.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proven ability to coordinate tasks independently, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.



Education & Experience

• Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Experience Required: 3-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably within wealth management, capital markets, or structured products.



Licenses & Credentials

• Minimum Required: Series 7 and 63, or ability to obtain within six months of hire.



Systems & Technology

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Bloomberg.
• Preferred familiarity with trading platforms such as MarketAxess, TradeWeb, BondDesk.
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data analysis and reporting. #LI-JK1
