What We're Looking For
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and professional with strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate computer, typing, and basic math skills
- Sales and customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of construction rental equipment, trench shoring, DOT regulations, or basic mechanical skills is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and coworkers
- Maintain a professional appearance, reliable attendance, and cooperative work attitude
- Able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and heavier items occasionally
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record; CDL Class A or B is a plus
- Must be able to communicate in English; bilingual ability is a plus
What you will enjoy doing
- Demonstrate critical safety awareness at all times
- Answer, document, and manage incoming phone calls and customer inquiries
- Process rental transactions, including reservations, quotes, billing, and returns
- Assist walk-in customers and help select appropriate equipment for their needs
- Coordinate deliveries, exchanges, and pickups with drivers and yard staff
- Communicate schedules, directions, and jobsite details to drivers
- Monitor open contracts, credit card rentals, and billing accuracy
- Maintain an organized workspace and accurate records
- Communicate leads, issues, and updates to sales staff and management
- Assist with yard, loading/unloading, deliveries, and basic equipment tasks as needed
- Meet performance, productivity, and attendance expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned
