Overview
BlueWater is seeking an Information Systems Security Analyst (ISSA) to serve as a cybersecurity technical lead ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems across classified and unclassified environments. The ISSA will provide cybersecurity, RMF, and continuous monitoring expertise for SCSTC network systems.
The Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) is the U.S. Navy's global center for combat systems training, responsible for preparing personnel to operate, maintain, and tactically employ surface combat systems across all major fleet concentration areas and international partner sites.
Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability management, incident response, and cybersecurity monitoring across SCSTC domains.
- Develop and maintain RMF documentation (SAP, SAR, POA&M, SSP) and assist with ATO packages.
- Perform system and network security assessments, configuration validation, and STIG compliance checks.
- Support ISSM/ISSO in cybersecurity inspections, risk analysis, and remediation tracking.
- Ensure all cybersecurity activities comply with DoD 8140.03, DoDI 8500.01, SECNAVINST 5239.3C, and DISA STIGs.
Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance is required.
- 4+ years in cybersecurity operations, IA compliance, or RMF support.
- Bachelor's in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
- DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II or IAM Level I (Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC); CISSP or CASP+ preferred.
- Deep understanding of eMASS, ACAS, HBSS, VRAM, and DISA tools; excellent technical writing.
