Are you an Electrical Engineer ready to ignite your career and leave a lasting impact on the world of infrastructure and building systems? Glumac, A Tetra Tech Company, invites you to join our dynamic team in Silicon Valley and take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of electrical engineering.
As an Electrical Engineer at Glumac, you'll be at the forefront of designing electrical power systems for a diverse range of buildings, from Advanced Technology facilities to Manufacturing/Industrial spaces, R&D labs, and Data Centers. Your influence will extend beyond technical expertise; you'll engage directly with clients, serving as the "Engineer of Record" to ensure that our designs not only meet code requirements but also exceed client expectations in terms of standards, guidelines, schedule, budget, and risk management.
Bring your design prowess to life as you develop power distribution, lighting, and control systems, conduct system layouts, perform meticulous load calculations, and select equipment with a specialized focus on medium-voltage systems. In addition, you'll lead construction administration, effectively manage projects by prioritizing tasks and monitoring budgets, and collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders such as code officials, contractors, architects, and design consultants. Your leadership skills will shine as you guide project teams, collaborate to budgeting and scheduling efforts, assist in crafting project scopes for RFPs, and actively engage in industry-related activities to expand your professional network. Your wealth of experience in the industry, 10-15+ years as an Electrical Engineer, will be complemented by your Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and your current Professional Engineering (PE) license.
We value your self-motivation and unwavering passion for innovative system designs. Your exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, will be your tools to success. Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM, SKM Powertools, and MS Office for complex calculations is essential. Your deep understanding of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards, coupled with a proven track record of fostering fruitful client relationships leading to repeat business, is highly prized. Experience in managing key client accounts and the ability to mentor and train junior engineers, ensuring quality control, are significant advantages. If you bring a sustainability focus and possess a LEED AP BD+C accreditation, you're an ideal fit for this role.
If you're ready to drive innovation, collaborate closely with clients, and lead pioneering projects in electrical engineering, we warmly invite you to be part of our mission to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions. Apply today to embark on a rewarding journey as a member of our dynamic Glumac team. Your passion and expertise will leave a lasting impact as we shape the future of infrastructure and building systems.
