**University of Missouri Kansas City, Oklahoma State, Oklahoma University and Kansas University**

Your Role:

This position will provide engineering support for the water/wastewater group. Typical projects include a wide variety of municipal water/wastewater projects involving collection and conveyance systems, pump stations, storage and treatment facilities, and rehabilitation.  This position is part of a team that specializes in the engineering of public water systems to upgrade aging infrastructure, provide sustainable solutions, and offer innovative approaches to help preserve safe and reliable wastewater collection and water delivery.

  • Assist in the design and permitting of projects
  • Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering reports and supporting documents
  • Assist in the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Ensure stand engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines
  • Plan, coordinate and execute work in a safe, timely, cost-effective, and compliant manner

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with relevant codes and industry standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred),
  • Third or a fourth-year student enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related field
