The Opportunity:

Tetra Tech is adding a Human Resources Coordinator to our Infrastructure East West HR team based in the U.S.

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our expanding Infrastructure East West HR team! In this role, you will be the backbone of our HR department, supporting various functions such as onboarding, recruitment, compliance, data management, and benefits administration. Your Role:

  • Assist with recruiting processes, such conducting background checks and coordinating interviews
  • Facilitate new employee orientations and ensure all necessary new hire paperwork is completed
  • Maintain accurate records of personnel-related data
  • Support monthly reporting activities to ensure HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Support data requests from internal teams and various benefit vendors
  • Assist with acquisition integration processes
  • Oversee service award program
  • Support our dynamic intern program
  • Support the HR Team with day-to-day needs
  • Work collaboratively with departments and all levels of employees
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards
  • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline, knowledge, and awareness
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • 4 plus years of Human Resources experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential
  • High level of reliability, follow-through and discretion
  • Attention to detail
  • Proactive and collaborative team player, with the ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
  • Ability to be agile and jump from task to task; prioritization is a must
  • Customer service focused
  • Ability to excel within a fast-paced work environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required
  • Proficiency in HR software and tools; experience with Oracle and Taleo applicant tracking systems are a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed, less than 10%.
