This key role is responsible for assisting with and directing support activities for all Information Solutions Group aspects of GIS, database management, records management, application/web development, electronic data collection and custom software initiatives. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen due to the projects they will be working on.

Your Role:
• Provides leadership and support to Information Solutions Group. Instills a positive attitude and motivates team members by maximizing team and individual performance.
• Leadership of the following areas: database, GIS, Records Management, and application development.
• Develops and maintains partnerships with internal and external stakeholders who can provide information, consultation and assistance.
• Continually seeks better ways of doing business.
• Assist in and demonstrated ability in developing and executing effective practices, tools, and standards for implementations.
• Embraces change to stay ahead of problems.
• Manage time and resources effectively to meet company objectives.
• Recruits, hires and develops a high performing team.
Qualifications:
BS or MS degree in Computer Science, GIS, Mathematics, Business or a related field, plus a minimum of 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Background managing projects.
• Financial understanding of budgets and revenue goals.
• Strong communicator, articulate and persuasive to people both within and outside of the organization.
• Knowledge and experience in a wide range of disciplines including database, GIS, Records Management, and application development using this knowledge to bring resources to bear in the resolution of issues.
• Demonstrated ability to apply tact and diplomacy when addressing all levels of staff. Must possess a high degree of business intelligence.
• Understanding of IT strategy and how it relates to business objectives.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows/Office software applications required. Conceptual knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server databases, GIS, and records management. Individual must have ample organizational skills, ability to manage heavy workloads and time-critical situations in order to fulfill deadline requirements, and strong ability to work in team situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
