About the position

Working closely with our Group Strategic Bids Manager, you'll take the lead on strategic bids across the NDY business including our subsidiary brands ECS and NDYLIGHT, bringing together project teams, office leaders and technical specialists to build compelling tender responses. You'll play a key enabling role in our most important strategic pursuits by helping align teams around a clear client need, bid strategy and win themes.
As Strategic Bids Coordinator, you'll help drive smarter ways of working across our pursuit activity, support others to build plain English proposals and contribute to the tools and templates that allow people throughout the business to deliver consistent, high-quality submissions.
In this role, you'll have plenty of scope to influence – from shaping NDY's voice in strategic proposals to guiding teams through best-practice work-winning approaches. You'll also help coach and support others around the business in writing, pitching and storytelling that connects with what our clients care about.
About you
You'll bring experience in managing bids, working closely with senior stakeholders and aligning teams around a shared message and approach – all while keeping multiple plates spinning.
You'll have great attention to detail and be able to lead processes that help people work better together under pressure. You'll understand how to guide technical minds to develop messages that resonate with client evaluators. And you enjoy being part of a team that wins.
Your communication skills are strong – both written and verbal – and you're not afraid to shape content and push for clarity. You'll be confident navigating the details of client requirements while also working creatively to shape win themes and differentiators.
We'd love you to have previous experience in a professional services or technical environment. A background in engineering, construction, infrastructure or property will help you dive quickly into the rhythm of the role. However, we're also happy to hear from strong communicators in other B2B sectors.
