About the Role:

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the Fusion Map commercial team. This role is pivotal to our growth strategy—owning the first stage of the sales lifecycle by identifying, qualifying, and engaging new prospects. You'll blend research, outreach, and strategic collaboration to build pipeline, optimize our sales channels, and drive market adoption. 

 

As part of a high-performing team, you'll use tools like Salesforce and Monday.com to stay organized, scale your efforts, and deliver actionable insights. This role also requires an understanding of customer pain points, value-driven messaging, and enterprise-level expectations. It's ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of process and people, and wants to grow within a dynamic, mission-driven company. 

 

The base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per annum. Please note that Tetra Tech con-siders various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business. 

 

Your Role:

Lead Identification, Qualification & Research

  • Identify high-potential leads through market research, industry signals, and intent data.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound prospects using structured methods like BANT or MEDDIC.
  • Understand industry-specific challenges and align Fusion Map's value proposition accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate lead and account data within Salesforce, including key personas, pain points, and engagement history.

Outreach & Relationship Building

  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns via email, phone, LinkedIn, and social platforms.
  • Book discovery calls and demos for Account Executives (AEs), ensuring alignment with client interest and readiness.
  • Conduct strategic follow-ups to re-engage cold leads and support long-term nurturing.
  • Track tasks, campaign milestones, and sales development activities in Monday.com.

Sales Channel Optimization & Workflow Management

  • Collaborate with marketing on outbound messaging, lead scoring, and campaign alignment.
  • Analyze engagement trends and share data-backed recommendations to improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure Salesforce pipeline hygiene with accurate lead status, next steps, and follow-up plans.
  • Use Monday.com to coordinate with cross-functional teams, track deliverables, and support sales initiatives.

Team Collaboration & Strategic Support

  • Partner with Account Executives and Sales Capture teams to support complex pursuits, including research for RFPs or key accounts.
  • Contribute to account planning by sharing intel on competitors, decision-makers, and project timelines.
  • Participate in sales stand-ups, reporting reviews, and playbook refinement.
  • Deliver feedback loops to product and marketing teams based on market conversations.

Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Number of qualified leads generated per week/month.
  • Discovery meetings or demos booked.
  • Lead-to-opportunity conversion rate.
  • CRM task completion and data hygiene.
  • Contribution to campaign and channel optimization Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
  • Additional duties as required. 

 

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience in a B2B, SaaS, or technical solutions environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and task/project tools like Monday.com.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and active listening.
  • Proven ability to research, prioritize, and execute against sales targets.
  • Strategic mindset with a passion for understanding customer challenges and industry trends.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with GIS, infrastructure planning, public sector procurement, or environmental solutions.
