Description
Schedule: Days (7-3:30) Monday through Friday, as needed
Job Objective: Performs housekeeping duties throughout the beautiful Sr Community of Ferris Hills.
Key Responsibilities:
Performs cleaning duties according to schedule in assigned areas such as apartment homes, common areas, lounges, and offices. Sweeps, dusts, dust mops, and wet mop all floors and stairways; spot cleans and vacuums floors, rugs, carpets, and runners. Collects trash and refuse from work areas and places in designated pick up areas. Cleans, sanitizes, and polishes lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures and facilities; stocks dispensers as necessary. Dust, washes, sponge mops, sanitize, and hand shampoos furniture; dust desk and floor lamps, clean and polish glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills. Maintains equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
Requirements:
- Interest in working with a senior population
- Team-oriented, reliable, and flexible
- Must be able to tolerate exposure to heat above 100 degrees F and cold below 40 degrees F for sustained periods, working at heights over six feet, vibration, skin irritants, lung irritants, and chemicals.
- Able to read, write and speak English.
- Must be able to interact with guests, residents, and associates in a courteous and friendly manner
Pay Range: $16.87 - $19.50
Starting Pay: Based on experience
